Pastor Timothy Haut, of the Deep River Congregational Church, welcomed Easter Sunday at a sunrise service held on March 23rd, 2008. Approximately 75 local people celebrated this beautiful moment as the sun rose up over the Connecticut River . Mount Saint John was represented well as Ms. Dana DeCerbo, daughter of Doug DeCerbo, Executive Director, participated by reciting the first reading. Mrs. Vicki McKenney, Executive Assistant to Doug, read the second reading. We were warmed by listening to beautiful bagpipe music as the sun rose.   Doug invited everyone inside and offered a continental breakfast for all who shared in this yearly event.
