Larry Marino
April 7, 1908 - February 3, 2008
It is with heavy heart that Mount Saint John would like to express its sympathy on the passing of our friend Larry Marino. In 1957, Fr. Macdonald told Larry that the furnace was broken in Old Main Hall. He came to fix the boiler and never left!
Few of us have the honor of living just shy of 100 years old! Larry's unconditional love for the young men of Mount Saint John, his incredible heart, and his love for God, Family and Church, has changed the lives of thousands of young men over the past 50 years here. Larry has represented God well, mirroring his attributes and intentions. He embodies the spirit of our motto; "It is better to build boys, than to mend men."
We know that the gates of Heaven our open and waiting for our dear friend today. Please join us in keeping his family in our prayers during this difficult time.
"If you do good, good will follow" - Larry Marino
