Residential Care Counselor

 

Mount Saint John (MSJ) is a comprehensive treatment program that provides a growing variety of integrated treatment services to adolescent boys and young men who are not able to function in their home community due to combinations of behavioral, emotional, family and educational challenges.  

Full time (40 hours/week) under the supervision of the designated supervisor in the Residential Care Program, this position will be responsible for providing direct youth care and supervision to students which includes but is not limited to maintenance of therapeutic milieu using the Psychoeducational Model of treatment (PEM) provision of a safe environment, and monitoring of basic physical needs for the House during their shift.  

Bachelor's Degree in related field or related experience preferred.     Two years experience in a residential setting.
